When it enters service, the 10X will feature the largest cabin cross-section of any purpose-built business jet—larger even than the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500. With a range of 7,500 nautical miles, the 10X is capable of flying nonstop from New York to Shanghai or from London to Santiago. Designed with the traveler in mind, its customizable cabin allows for a full-size bedroom, private shower, and multiple living zones. Entry into service of the Falcon 10X is expected towards the end of 2025.

 

Bombardier Global 7500 and 8000: Canadian Craftsmanship, World-Class Reach

Bombardier’s Global 7500, already a favorite among ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporations, set a new standard when it entered service. With a range of 7,700 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.925, it can fly nonstop from Singapore to San Francisco or from Miami to Dubai. The Global 7500 features four distinct cabin zones, a full-size galley, and an industry exclusive Nuage seat designed for long-haul comfort.

Yet Bombardier wasn’t content to rest on its laurels. The Global 8000, unveiled as the next evolution in the Global line, will become the fastest and longest-range business jet in the world. Expected to enter service in 2025, the 8000 will offer an astonishing 8,000 nautical mile range and reach speeds up to Mach 0.94. In test flights, it has even gone supersonic—an impressive feat for a business jet. Its cabin will offer a similar configuration to the 7500, but with improvements in air quality, pressure, and acoustics, reinforcing Bombardier’s commitment to passenger wellness.

Gulfstream G700 and G800: American Luxury, Global Reach

Gulfstream, a name synonymous with elite private aviation, has also entered the ultra-long-range race with its flagship models: the G700 and G800.

The G700 is Gulfstream’s answer to the growing demand for more space and more range started deliveries in 2024. Featuring up to five living areas and a crew rest compartment, the G700 has a range of 7,500 nautical miles and is designed for nonstop travel between nearly any two cities on the globe. It incorporates Gulfstream’s signature oval windows, the largest in business aviation, and a cabin altitude of just 3,000 feet while cruising at 41,000 feet—ensuring maximum comfort. The G700 has exceeded more than 80 city-pair speed records, including an impressive 6,507nm/10,051km from Los Angeles to Sydney in just 14 hours and 26 minutes.

The G800, on the other hand, is Gulfstream’s range champion. With an impressive 8,200 nautical mile range at the long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85, it will match the Bombardier Global 8000 in intercontinental capability. The G800 offers a slightly smaller cabin than the G700 but retains all the features Gulfstream customers have come to expect: high-speed connectivity, whisper-quiet interiors, and meticulous attention to luxury details. Gulfstream G800 has earned type certification from both EASA and FAA on April 16^th, 2025.
