New rules to travel to the UK

Since Brexit, travelling to the UK has become more and more difficult and it is not getting better. As London is a popular destination for JetFlo’s clients we wanted to give you a brief overview of the entry conditions into the UK.
- Does my aircraft need a special permit to enter or leave the UK?
If you are flying on private jet to or from the UK the operator needs so obtain a flight permit from the UK Civil Aviation authorities. The obtention of such permits usually requires 3 business days. However, shorter notice permit request are often possible at CAA’s discretion and during working hours (Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 17:00 LT).
This flight permits requirement does not apply to aircraft registered in the UK or Ireland. In addition, some operators have requested a block permit allowing them to be allowed to fly in and out of the UK in a short period of time.
Based on the time of your departure, JetFlo will select the appropriate operator in order to allow sufficient time to obtain the flight permit.
